How long have you been with AESG?
I started at AESG in January of 2020.
What is your professional/academic background?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Technology with a concentration in Engineering and Manufacturing. I also have eight years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer for the US Navy.
What is your role with AESG?
I am currently the Operations Manager for AESG.
What about your background helps you in your current position?
I’m pretty successful in my current role using data analysis and problem-solving. Deducing what is wrong and why is a part of our daily puzzle around the shop.
What is your favorite robot to work on?
I enjoy working on WFH Kensington robots that can cycle a variety of wafers. They have all the bells and whistle of larger robots but are about the size of a crock pot, which makes them slightly easier to work with.
What would you like to learn more about?
I would love to learn more about future innovation and the development of replacement robots.
What robot would you like to see AESG work on?
Personally, I prefer Dinobots, a small subsection of Autobots. Grimlock would have to be the most popular as their leader. A robot that can transform into a T. rex!!! I mean whats cooler than that? I would love to work on a Dinobot!
Where do you see yourself in the next two to five years?
Not on the PGA tour. Not surfing the globe for free. Not making any Olympic teams.
Fixing robots. I see myself fixing robots.
What is the most exciting thing you have learned while at AESG?
I am really excited about watching the SEMI industry explode with the advancement of technology.
How would you describe AESG’s actions if you met someone at a trade show or conference?
AESG is a repair facility for robots. Along with the controllers that make them work.
Any other personal information you’d like to include in your bio?
I have two dogs, two cats, and a freshwater aquarium. My free time is spent golfing, surfing, and playing volleyball.
